Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991) is also known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper. Scott is also a singer, songwriter record producer, singer, and songwriter. The stage name is the combined name of a favorite uncle with the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album called the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album by the artist. The hit single "Antidote" was the lead track. The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), was made in collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. After the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to have three songs at number one in less than one year in 2020.
