Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress, comedian, and activist. Her parents were Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she relocated to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and in 2020 - have has made her famous. In addition to commercial appearances, she also appeared as a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. When she was five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school after her sophomore years. She was able to get an GED and went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned improv comedy.
